Producers of 120 Pet Expos since 2009 to add second day of events in over 30 shows across the country; All shows expand to Saturday and Sunday in 2016.
St. Louis, MO – Amazing Pet Expos celebrates their 120th and 121st consecutive Pet Expos on Saturday, October 10, 2015 with the Portland and Cleveland Pet Expos taking place simultaneously. Leading up to the respective events, Amazing Pet Expos has a very exciting announcement about their shows beginning in January of 2016. The leading national production company is pleased to announce that over 30 Pet Expos in over 20 states around the country will feature events on both Saturday and Sunday in 2016, beginning with the Bay Area Pet Expo.
“Over one million people have walked through the doors of an Amazing Pet Expo in 6 years,” says Ethan Barnett, Vice President of Community Partnerships, “With so many people walking through our shows, we’ve been able to continue educating the public on progressive training techniques, pet safety, animal legislation, and veterinary facts. We’ve also continued to provide low-cost vaccinations for pet parents and had a major mega-adoption area at each of our events. Our shows have reached over 35 major pet communities around the country and continue to make a difference in human and animal lives everywhere.
In recognition of the company’s overall growth, Amazing Pet Expos unveiled the first phase of plans for the future early in 2015. This year, Amazing Expos introduced a handful of two-day expos in order to measure the impact of an additional day of programming. In 2015 six shows expanded to the 2-day format; Vegas, Southern California, Phoenix, Austin, Cleveland and St. Louis. In those markets, the extra day for exhibitors and attendees allowed for additional entertainment features, pop culture figures and to expand upon the educational initiatives currently taking place.
“We’ve received so many requests from exhibitors and attendees over the years about moving to a larger two-day show in order to reach more people and make a larger impact,” says Ethan Barnett, Vice President of Community Partnerships for Amazing Pet Expos, “A huge part of our initiative is to help people become better pet companions, and we felt that the addition of the extra day really helps with that. We’re so ecstatic to expand our format to further benefit local pet communities across the country. We can’t wait to unveil more exciting news in 2016.”
